Growth hormone injection log: history, streak and month calendar

GrowTracker keeps a log of every growth hormone injection: for each day you see whether the injection was marked, when, who marked it and at which site, and a month calendar and a “nights in a row” counter show the whole picture.

What's saved for each day

Every day is recorded in the log: the injection time, who marked it and the injection site. Next to each injection the dose is shown too, as it's currently set in the app. On a day marked “Not injecting today” the reason is saved as well, if you chose one, for example “Away from home”, and when you edit a day you can add a short note to it.

A day someone marked shows as “Injected”, with the time. A day the app marked by itself shows as “Injected (marked automatically)”, so it's always clear what a person marked and what the app assumed.

Month calendar and nights in a row

At the top of the history page you see a “nights in a row” counter and a calendar of the month, for one child at a time. Each day has an icon and a word, such as “Injected”, “Skipped”, “Not marked” or “No record”, and tapping a day shows what was recorded on it. You can go back to earlier months, within the plan's history window.

Noa's injection history: “96 nights in a row” and the September 2026 calendar with every day marked injected; 30 September is selected, injected at 19:58.
Injection history: the nights-in-a-row streak, the month calendar and the selected day.

The best streak is shown next to the counter too. Every evening with the injection marked counts, including an automatic mark that wasn't undone. A day marked “Not injecting today”, or a day with no record, doesn't count but doesn't break the streak either. A day recorded as “Not marked”, for example after you undid an automatic mark, breaks it.

An unmarked injection, and correcting a past day

Each day's injection can be marked as usual until 03:00 the next morning. If nobody has marked it by then, the app assumes the injection was given, marks the day automatically and takes a dose off the stock. The next time you open the app, a notice tells you so, and if the injection wasn't given, “Undo (Not Done)” records the day as “Not marked” and puts the dose back in the stock. If no pen is left, the day isn't marked automatically: it shows as “Not marked”, and a notice tells you that too.

On the history page you can also add an injection that was given on a past day and not marked, with its date and time, and correct an existing record: mark whether the injection was done or not, and correct the time. Today's injection is marked on the home screen.

How far back, and who sees it

On Essential the log shows 90 days back, and on Pro a year. The window is set by the plan of the parent who manages the child, so an invited second parent sees the same window.

The other parent and the child's own login see the log and can correct it.

Who it helps

  • For parents: you see who marked it and when, so it's easy to know whether yesterday's injection was given, even when the other parent gave it.
  • For teens who inject on their own: the streak and the calendar show the progress, evening after evening.

From the log you can also create a printable tracking report, with a summary of the injections, the days without an injection and the reason recorded for them. The daily reminders remind you to mark each injection, and each day's site is set by the injection-site rotation.

Questions about the injection log

What's the difference between “Injected” and “Injected (marked automatically)”?

“Injected” is a day someone marked. “Injected (marked automatically)” is a day nobody marked, and the app assumed the injection was given. If it wasn't given, you undo the mark, and the day is recorded as “Not marked”.

We forgot to mark an injection. What do we do?

Until 03:00 the next morning, you mark it as usual. After that the day is already marked automatically, unless no pen is left, and on the history page you can open it and correct it. For a day with no record at all, “Add record” on the history page adds an injection with its date and time, within the plan's history window.

How far back can I see?

The injection log shows 90 days back on Essential and a year on Pro, by the plan of the parent who manages the child. Earlier days are marked on the calendar as “Outside your plan’s history window”.
